Ours is a family run chalet; open all year around because it’s also our home. Michel, a qualified ski instructor, can show you the slopes while Australian born Rebecca prepares tasty homemade evening meals. Our whole family are bilingual in French and English. Michel has been living and working in Montgenevre for over twenty years and Rebecca, a former hotel manager, has wide experience in the hospitality industry. We know the village, we speak the language and we understand your needs!
We designed and built the chalet ourselves, allowing us to tailor it exactly to our needs. The Chalet is modern and comfortable, with plenty of different areas allowing you to be as private or sociable as you wish.
We paid particular attention to our carbon footprint. .We have chosen natural finishes, such as stone and wood; the paint is water based, the wall rendering is mostly clay based. We recycle where possible including our rain water, and are entirely fuelled by wood (both the open fire and wood chip boiler). Respecting the amazing environment we live in is important to us, and at the Pot de Miel we believe we’ve found the perfect compromise between comfort and healthy living.
We love our chalet, our mountain and our alpine village. We can promise you a great holiday in a superb location.
