Ideally situated on the Franco Italian border, Montgenevre is part of the Milky Way ski area: one of the biggest international ski areas in Europe.
The traditional village of Montgenèvre, the oldest ski resort in France, is situated at 1850m altitude, assuring great snow, and an early start to a long season. Le Pot de Miel is on the piste that links the north and south sides of the resort, at 1960m. Ski in, ski out!
Montgenevre has over 100km of pistes, with a great range of runs, for all ski abilities including 38 lifts, 25 beginners runs, with a new dedicated ski area from December 2010, 23 intermediate runs and 11 advanced runs. Montgenevre also offers a half pipe and snow park!
Ski the entire Milky Way ski area, from Montgenevre to Sestrière, home of the Turin 2006 Winter Olympics for a small extension on your week lift pass; over 400km of runs!
