Hi Tessa, this receipe is for you. You'll need to get hold of some Golden Syrup to make this one. If you can't find any, then you can substitute honey (but nothing really strong, chose a subtle flavour)
2 tablespoons of golden syrup
Melt butter, sugar and golden syrup over a low heat until completely combined. Add the oats.
Pour into a prepared baking tin, lined with baking paper.
Bake at 160°C until golden brown (about 30min). Do not take out of tin immediately, it will crumble.
You can reduce the amount of oats and add cocunut, or raisins, dried apricots or cornflakes (makes it crunchier). It's also good with melted chocolate drizzled on top.
